Was up at Highwood Pass today & was greeted close to the parking lot by a Grizzly and her two cubs
There was a warden there that was well aware of these bears and had two dog's chase them away....I for one was thinking about hiking elsewhere but most of my group wanted to carry on. Anyways it was a great day to hike and as you say it is nice to see such clean trails! Lot's of people out today and no garbage to be found!
