Fantastic movie, there was so much in it and yet that 2.5 hours flew right by. Definitely set up a sequel as well, and I'm interested to see where it goes. I love how Nolan isn't making a habit of killing too many of his villains though I am disappointed that it looks like Two-Face/Dent is done for.
Very depressing, though, I mean, what's the only ray of hope offered here? That Bruce provided Lucius with a way to destroy that cell-phone thing (how Patriot Act)? That seems like about it to me. Definitely had that Empire Strikes Back feeling in that sense.

Yeah nice to see Scarecrow again albeit briefly, as much as Aaron Eckhart was awesome as Dent/Two Face I wonder having seen it for a movie and half if he was in another one would get tiresome as far as his enraged love lost motives. And for the sake of a "complete" story for TDK he needed to die so that his image as the white knight could be contrasted to Batman's status at the end of the flick.
