Thats right on the money. In my 20's I played a lot of video games in the evenings or on a Sunday afternoon. Now that I'm married with young kids, I don't have time to play. I might get to play wii sports with my daughter before she goes to bed, thats about it.
Now I woudn't have purchased a new system that catered only to serious gamers, becaue I simply didn't have the time to play it. With the wii, I could justify the expense. Nintendo tapped the untapped market and it has worked so far.
