West Vancouver I believe. Trust me there is rain forest and no, it's not just because there is a forest and it rains alot. The foliage, plant life is considered rain forest.

and in reply to Reaper, I'll take 11 out of 14 days of rain (Even though you're exaggerating) and green grass year long then brown, mucky, dirty roads all winter long.

Not to mention the Ocean at your door step. I guess I just prefer the coast to prairies. Flowers blooming in February... it's fataing beautiful you can almost taste the air.

I don't see why people bitch about rain... Rain=Life.
I lived on the west coast for 15 years and moved to get away from the dreary days and chill you to the bone winter rain. I remember one winter in high school when there was a month where we had one day without rain. Trust me, it's wet in Vancouver. Get used to having dirty pant legs from getting in and out of your car in the winter.

And the thing that I hate about the weather there is not the rain. It's the lack of sunshine from all the cloudy days.

Also, what type of flowers are blooming in February? We never had any in my whole time there so unless they are genetically engineered to bloom in 8 degree weather they don't exist.

What's this Rain equals life business? Yes, rain is a part of the ecological system that exists on the planet earth but that doesn't mean it's fun. I guess if you don't go outside to see the sun anyways it doesn't matter if it is shining or not. Probably why there are so many programmers in Vancouver...
