Thanks for the replies guys, but yeah, pretty much what I was expecting, but hey, nothing wrong with that

I'm actually born and raised here, my grandparents would take me to Devonian Gardens every week, I'd visit the Zoo, been to Kananaskis and Banff camping and hiking more times than I remember. Really just looking more for any new or interesting things to goto or do that have popped up in Calgary, but I guess it's more of the same.

I really loved exploring downtown and the +15's as a kid but I've walked all of them and been up and down Steven Ave almost everyday when I worked at Bankers Hall. I was looking for more of a small group activity or something, I'm not sure what. I'd love to take hours going through the Glenbow Museum, unfortunately, my friends are all losers and no geeks like me. Last time I was in downtown with a friend by Olympic Plaza I even suggested going to the Castell Library but of course, they didn't want to. Hanging out on 17th is also nice, but it gets old too like everything else.

The Vancouver Island rain forest is awesome, as is the sea, and the rain, and greenery. But I'm sure even they get sick of places like Granville Island just as one can get used to Princes Island Park, etc. I'm not that big a fan of Cochrane Icecream but the drive is fun.

Thanks for the replies, I was just hoping somebody could point out something new to explore that I didn't know about or some big secret where all the hot girls hang out that I didn't know about Seriously though, I'm more of an explorer at heart, but I think I've been through most places in this city. I want to feel that wonder and amazement again.
