I have a friend who absolutely hates the word "fixins", as in "turkey dinner with all the fixins" - albeit that it is a noun. If she annoys me I just put on a hickish accent and ask her if she wants to "Head on down to the hootenanny an' grab ourselves some picnicking with aaaaaaalllllll the fixins?!?" Gets her every time.
