The team we played against were nice guys, a little drunk, but that's the be expected on a rec league. But throughout the game they pitched when the fielders weren't ready(pitch to yourself), did not know the rules at all, and constantly tried to psych us out (by yelling overthrow, schank it, miss, etc.)
So my question is, do I have a right to be a little bit peeved at this team? Enough so to go through a sportsmanship complaint?

I would be annoyed especially since it is rec. The league you play in should have rules for this, this is from the calgary sport and social club website.
Unsportsmanlike Conduct This includes not calling your own fouls, not stopping play while a player has been injured and commenting on the other teams play It also includes not showing respect for the facility and equipment, the other team and Games Coordinator/Events Coordinator.
Minor Offence = Warning Letter
Non Serious Offence = Warning Letter and Review
Serious Offence = 1-3 Game Suspension
Major Offence = Suspension from our League
Who knows where that would lie though, probably a minor or non serious but who knows maybe other teams have made complaints and it would be escalated.
