I asked if I could have the deal put on my original iPhone and he said "No."
I asked why. He said "Because it is Sunday and Data Services is closed on Sundays". Guh. I'm guessing that is because prior to this week, data services was primarily for business use. The average Joe couldn't afford data.

Just a quick question regarding that. If you sign up for the $30/6GB plan, do you have to lock yourself into that for 3 years? I'm just wondering because in your case if you had an unlocked original iPhone, does it make sense to lock yourself into a 3 year data plan when you could have spent $250 and got the 3G version? I'm just curious as to if you can go month to month on that plan in both cases (existing phone or brand new 3G iPhone)?
