Good win for the Stamps tonight. I thought Burris and Co played well especially in the 3rd quarter where they had the ball for at least 11 minutes. Defense were kind of awful in the 1st half with no pressure at all. I thought Calvillo will have burn us just like Ricky Ray did but defense made some adjustment in the 2nd half.

OFFENSE: Henry Burris with one mistake early was consistent tonight. I like the way they mixed up passing and running. Joffrey Reynolds like always when he is being used properly can help the offense tremendously. He was also a catalyst on the kickoff return in the second half. Nik Lewis, i love this guy. He can catch those tough passes and he helped Burris getting a 1st down when needed.

OFFENSIVE LINE: Wow, two rookies Tsoumpas and Jesse Newman starting tonight. They did very well and gave Burris lots of time in the pocket. Technically the Stamps started 3 rookies (Tsoumpas, Newman and Hall). Very impressive.

DEFENSE: Early in the game, DBs are getting burned too much. There was no pressure on the Front 7 again but that was changed in the second half. Good for them in making some great adjustment in the second half; which helped shut down Calvillo's offennse.

SPECIAL TEAMS: Cover teams are good, Sandro is always consistent and Mr. Automatic. Burke Dales seems to be struggling with his positional and he got called a couple of time count violations. Markus Howell is useless as a punt returner. The Stamps needs to find someone to replace the guy. Everytime the other team punt the ball, i did not have any hope at all that we will have a good field position or score at all. It's usually 'ooops i can't catch the ball so i'll let it go to the end zone' kind of thing. Special teams needs to improve soon. Kickoff returner was not a problem.

All in all, good win for the Stampeders. Good time management at the end and great adjustment for both offense and defense on the second half.
