They signed me up to Fab 5, gave me extended evenings and weekends for free, no charge call display and gave me an additional 100 bucks towards a new phone. They will kiss your butt to keep you signed up. Just do your homework to know what you can get.

I had a similar issue about a year ago, but in reverse corporations. Originally I had a Rogers cell phone, on a corporate package. My wife needed a phone, so I again went with Rogers. About 2 months later, I received a call, informing me that since I had 2 phones at the same address, it would be beneficial to be on the family package. I was switched over, and within 3 weeks, noticed that I no longer had call display or call forwarding, and my bill had increased $15/mth. I called Rogers and was told that these services were only a trial package, and that I could add a 3rd phone for no charge, to which I replied "for who".
I waited out my package, and eventually received a call inviting me to 're-up' with Rogers. I asked what they were offering me....the line went quiet, and the lady said...."another 2 years with us?". I asked her the rate, and she said the same rate I had. I asked her nwhat phones I would receive, and she said none. I asked why I would want to pay the same rate, without a new phone, as I had on contract for a new phone, and she said she could give me the Fab 5, to which I replied that none of my friends had Rogers, since a friend worked for Bell. She then offered me one refurbed phone. I told her I would weigh my other options, and call her back.
I received a deal for Bell, from Baka, that gave me 2 Samsung M510 phones, with 250 anytime minutes, unlimited weekend minutes, call display, call waiting, voice mail unlimited texts, and conference calling, for $25 less per month, tha my rogers family plan. I called Rogers back, and cancelled my last month, and was billed for 2 months, for opting out early. I informed them it was well worth it, since the 2 months of fees, would be made up in the savings over 4 months, not including the new phones. They then offered 2 phones, if I stayed with them, and offered to match plans.....I told this guy, he was a couple weeks too late.
After a year, I have had no issues or surprises with Bell
