My fridge doesn't work so I usually don't have milk on hand. So, I have powdered milk. And because of this I have discovered a way to get KD (and other Mac & Cheeses) ridiculously creamy.
While the noodles are cooking, grab a bowl. Add the cheese powder and about a tablespoon and a half of powered milk to the bowl. Slowly add a bit of water at a time to make a paste that is a tad runny. After the noodles are cooked, drain, add the butter so it melts, then add the paste mixture.
I will never use the standard recipe again, the results are awesome.
