Keep in mind, Kevin's images are simple and elegant... not over the top "cartoon looking", like the majority of HDR images are.

I've tried HDR a number of times both in Photomatix and Photoshop, but I always gave up because they came out looking too fake. I hate the obvious-fake look. Maybe I'll have to give it a 2nd try.
