They're flying in and out of a vent between the hood and the windshield but I can't see the nest anywhere. I need to install a new battery but the wasps are interfering with that. Once I get the battery in, I could drive the van around and maybe the wasps would get the idea or the nest might fall out, but until them....

1. Purchase new battery and grab your jumper cables

2. Put on your thickest winter gear including balaclava and goggles

3. Bring garden hose (with sprayer), battery and cables to front of truck

4. Open hood

5. if nest is visible, spray the ball of evil until it is dislodged
5a. if nest is not visible, see 8a.

6. connect cables and charge the dead battery

7. go have a (one) beer

8. start truck, toss new battery and the necessary tools to change it into the truck and head to a buddy's place and change the battery while having your second beer.
8a. drive for a really long time, hitting lots of bumps and puddles. Probably best to keep windows rolled up.

9. go home and make sure the nest is sufficiently f'd up. Have another beer. Job well done.
