I was going to get the iPhone. I was even trying to justify to myself the cheapest plan, but I just can't do it. I do not want a $500 bill showing up at my house after using my phone for a month.

The more I think about it, the more likely it is that I'll end up buying an iPhone without a data plan. I'm rarely in a spot where I NEED to access the internet and am without any WiFi. I can wait for Roger's to release a better data plan. The requirement of buying a data plan was the real killer for me. Now that it has been lifted, Rogers is back on my options.
If I can get a decent voice/texting plan from Rogers, I'm in. Replaces both my phone and iPod for cheaper then the cost of buying both devices separately.
