I just got back from a long camping trip around the western US and saw lots and lots of really cool bugs, but this was the major highlight - a windscorpion. Weird, weird arachnid. I knew what it was (I'm a bit of a bug geek), so it didn't freak me out, but I can see how it would scare the bejeezus out of an arachnophobe.
