Dear CPHL Head Office and fellow General Managers,

My name is Jesse Allarie and I am currently the General Manager who happens to run the struggling Dallas Stars. I took over earlier in the season, as a young man and had plenty of ambition. And of course, the fire is still burning for me but as things change in this league, ideas for myself seem to change. I was always very eager to become apart of the CPHL, awaiting months before finally getting a chance and recognized by Mr. Dayel Peterson. For that I thank of him, and it hasn't been a piece of cake since I've taken over for the Stars. I admit that when I first came in, I was excited to be a GM but than my excitement started to decrease as I had looked at what exactly I had taken over. There were a few bright spots on this dark organization that I had seen, but then I just sucked it up instead of whining. I had been a pain in the butt to the CPHL head office before I actually got accepted, and if I wanted to be in this league that bad than taking over the Stars would be good enough.

Now, it may not look like I have done a whole lot to this club or have been very active. I have made a few changes, not a lot but some. As well, I have been constantly emailing agents and talking to fellow GM's to try and improve my club. I can say one thing is that they look a bit better than they did when I started. Honestly, who would rather have their highest rated player as Jason Wiemer instead of Kyle Calder (and his 100 million dollar contract.) I'm not saying I've been the greatest GM, obviously not but I have been trying and have been influenced by some other guys around here. The CPHL was not my first fantasy league, however I have been in a few but the CPHL looks to be the most professional and challenging one I have EVER seen. I'm not trying to kiss up to anybody to get what I want, unless that would work..

All jokes aside, I became rather intrigued when I discovered the news of two expansions to the CPHL. It was quite a surprise considering this league seemed to be pretty realistic, on the other hand.. The NHL is the most realistic and having fun seems to be the key thing here.. Not only would I be pumped about expansions, but when I learn that it's the Winnipeg Jets.. I almost fell out of my chair.. That may be an exaggeration, maybe not.. But what's important is that I love the Jets. I don't know if any of you have been to http://www.jetsowner.com but it's about a local Winnipegger like myself that has a huge city-wide campaign to bring the NHL back to it's rightful home Winnipeg, Manitoba! I have taken parts in some campaigns by purchasing merchandise, going to campaign parties, hockey games, etc.. It would be a dream of mine to have the Jets back, but until then.. I guess my mini-dream would be to run a fantasy Winnipeg Jets. I'm not exactly sure what's going to happen with the expansion and if new GM's will be recruited or someone in the league already will take over an expansion team.

I do realize that there may be plenty of interest to take over the Jets or the Nordiques. It doesn't really bother me about the Nordiques, anybody feel free to go after them. But, I would really be honored to be the GM of the Winnipeg Jets. Who better than a guy who loves the Jets, is from the home city, and would do anything to bring the jets back or in this case win them a CPHL Stanley Cup. I have also been told that if a current GM in the CPHL takes over the Jets it will be one with experience. I know that I have not been in this league for a very long time and I could still be considered "new". But, I do have FHL experience and how can I gain any experience in the CPHL if I don't get the chance to get any. I believe that if I get to start off with the Jets, they will be my team and I will get to start from rock bottom. Everything I do would be from what I have started.

So, I am proposing that if this expansion actually does happen. That anybody who thinks I am qualified for this will recommend me. I have had a great time so far, and if I make the transition to the Jets, everything I do will be taken the max. I have already been trying to improve the Stars, and if given the opportunity I will show everybody exactly what I can do..(Well when I figure what that is lol jokes).. I know this is long and I've rambled on.. I would just like everybody to know what's on my mind and what my current visions are. Hopefully this can be further discussed. Looking forward to working with everybody still and would appreciate any feedback as wished.

Thanks,

Currently the General Manager of the Dallas Stars - Jesse Allarie
