Anyways, the problem moreso lies with CDMA phones since you can't just swap out a sim card. The market is pretty saturated with Sim card phones so its pretty easy to get a replacement unlike CDMA which is linked to the carrier.

not to get too off topic but would you mind explaining the difference a bit? i'm somewhat aware of these two types but i don't completely understand what differences there are between the two.
