Here's some fun/cheezy/simple songs I enjoy playing:

REO Speedwagon: Take it on the run, keep on loving you
U2: one, with or without you
INXS: never tear us apart
Crowded House: Don't Dream it's over
Chris Isaak: Wicked Game
Springsteen: Brilliant Disguise
The Hip: Wheat Kings
Blue Rodeo: Lost Together
The Stones: Salt of the earth

My all time favourite song to play is Charming Man by the Smiths, but I also like to play Message in a Bottle by the Police (my unofficial warm up song), Rhiannion by Fleetwood Mac, anything by the Arctic Monkeys (esp Brianstorm), and Limelight by Rush.

Edit: Forgot to mention Like a Hurricane and Cowgirl in the Sand, both by Neil Young
