Personally I don't think the football gods had anything to do with it. It was a well executed play that happened at the right moment. Allthough Dyson was out of position or something to that effect. So maybe there was a lot of luck involved as well.

As for Dyson it was a set play, he was in pefect position, the entire blocking scheme was planned around the lateral.
