With a heavy heart I have decided to step down as GM of the Oilers and give Rob a chance to get back into the league before UFA season begins.

I just have not been online a whole lot lately and feel like I don't have the time to devote like I used to. It's my own decision; things have been quite busy at work and personally, and generally I just don't spend much time on the computer outside of work these days.

I'll let Rob know my ideas for the team but what he chooses to do will be his decision now. If he's smart he'll hold on to the likes of Iggy, Zetts, and Brodeur though!

Who knows, maybe I'll reenter the league (again) one day but for now I feel like I'm being unfair to you guys.

Good luck to all you guys and here's hoping the Oilers can continue to be a dominant team next season.
