I have to agree you don't need much. I was living with a person who was training to be a wrestler, but very conscious about doing it safely. All he did was eat a ton of protein and use Creatine powder/drinks as well.

He had a strict diet and exercise regimen. He lived with me for about 8 months, but you could tell a MAJOR difference by the end.

Stay away from too much sugar and carbs. Fat shouldn't make you fat, but it will drain your energy.

He ate plain chicken breast and plain rice with some veggies 6 out of 7 nights. Just clean, unsauced, unseasoned foods. He'd leave one night a week to junk it up with pizza and chips and pop and whatever he wanted.

And extra protein and Creatine in the forms of powders and drinks. And of course, regular vitamin supps.
