There's some times out there, I've been phoning around lately, trying to get a practice together for my hockey team. I know it's pretty pricer this summer at city rinks. For example, Fish Creek Arena charges $208/hr + gst for prime time (can't quite remember what prime time is).
Your best bet is to get Fish Creek Arena before 4pm on a weekday. They always have free ice time during weekdays before 4pm, and they usually only charge about $60/hr.
