At the end of the day, you can get an ipod touch for 200 bucks and do everything on it that you can on an iphone (except for make a phone call).
RIM makes some of the most elegant and efficient corporate devices on the planet. I'm sure apple makes a great macbook and an even better ipod... but when it comes to PHONES, nobody holds a candle to RIM.
This is all my opinion, of course, but my opinion is shaped by personal-use experience. I've had an iphone, I've had an ipod touch and I've been a blackberry user for a couple years now... and I run a corporate network and I use my phones in a corporate environment.
Knowing what I know... nothing touches a RIM device. Not even close.

Well, the iPhone/Touch comparison isn't exactly accurate. Depending on the cost of Rogers' data plan, I'll be selling my Touch and getting an iPhone because of the 3G capability. I can't check my email at lunch on a Touch without a WiFi network that I have access to.
But you didn't answer the question. You state clearly that nothing touches a RIM device but you don't give a single reason why.
