Oh sure, we all get it. Should he practice what he preaches? Sure.
Has his net effect on the environment been largely positive? IMO, I don't think there is any doubt about that, even if many of us disagree with his arguments on climate change.
Let's say Al Gore caused $100 M to be donated to lung cancer research. Then, you find out that he smokes. Are you still going to lord that over him? Is that a fair analogy?
