You can't see the hypocracy? The guy tells everyone to use less energy yet he uses copious amounts of energy. Sho what he has bought from "GREEN" sources. Do you thing that those materials that produce the green energy did not cost a lot in enrgy to make? Solar panels need a lot of silcon and then they need to be manufactured. CF lights use dangerous heavy metals that need to be mined and processed and then recycled once they are used. Re-furbishing his house with all new products and materials is energy intensive.
So he uses all this energy for what??? TO have a big house?
Maybe the guy should just have a smalelr house and create a smaller footprint just like he preaches to the rest of the people in this world.
Since my family farms, do I get credit for having a carbon sink? Can I burn gasoline like it has gone out of style beacause my carbon foot print would be neutral?
