That seems very good for a home of that size, you must have good insulation or keep the heat down or something.

For me, I keep my house at 18 degrees all the time, so I could probably benefit getting a programmable thermostat, but any colder in the morning and it becomes difficult to get out of bed in the winter.

In December, Enmax / ATCO mis-read my gas meter, resulting in an incredibly low bill of $33 for that month. The next month (which was really cold, IIRC), they got the correct value and since the meter is cumulative I got hit with a $200+ gas bill the following month that essentially accounted for my gas usage in both December and January. I nearly had a stroke.

I never crunched the numbers, but I suspect that I paid more then I needed to because of the higher gas prices in January.
