There isn't much of a difference... I get to sell both phones to everyone, I think the Iphone is overrated due to how quick i have seen the software crash as well as the cheap parts it uses. I have had customers come in to see if i can fix their IPHONE. It is a great tool for WIFI, but if you already have an IPOD then all it is, is an expensive touch screen phone.
As for marketing the phone to 2 different groups, I respectfully disagree, The reason the IPHONE was created was to take a bite out of RIM and Blackberry as a whole. I have talked to 2 different Apple reps who have point out told me that is what they want. But everyone is going to scoop up the IPHONE in record numbers which is fine by me. But in 2-4 months all everyone is going to hear is how quickly their Iphone crapped out on them.

Iphone= Gimmick...
