Spring 2009 imo, just in time for May long.

Just thought it would be interesting to see when everyone thinks we are going to hit this marker. When it does make it there we can come back and see who was the WINNAH, although with gas at $2.00 a litre we will all be losers...

Inflation rises, gas to blame

"There’s verification to what you’ve noticed at the cash register: your money is buying less these days. In a report released today, Statistics Canada verified that consumer prices in Canada rose 2.2 per cent last month compared with the same time period last year. Prices rose 1.7 per cent from the month previous.

To blame are significant increases in gasoline prices, says Statistics Canada. The gas price index rose 15 per cent nationally in May compared with the same month last year. Alberta’s price increase was 13.3 per cent. The lowest increase was in British Columbia at 8 per cent, and Ontarians had the highest increase at 17.3 per cent."
