It's true. Electricity prices are going up. Just a few short years ago we were paying about 5.5 cents/Kwh for power. The regulated rate is now 10 cents/Kwh and has been as high as 11.4 cents over the last few months.

Enmax offers a plan called EasyMax where you can fix your electricity rate at 8.0 cents/Kwh. I would definately look into it if you want to save yourself some money.
