Could you please point me in the direction of the unbiased study that shows pit bulls are less mentally stable than shepards and dobermans? Read my post above, I think you are spreading false information, exactly what leads to people hating pit bulls.

If you are unsure how to properly train and socialize a larger dog than you shouldn't own one, or should contact the SPCA or your vet. Furthermore every breed of dog shows a wide range from alpha dog down to follower, that is dependant on that specific dog, and if you happen to get an alpha dog (a responsible breeder would know that it was and wouldn't sell to just anyone) you need to take more responsibilities to make yourself the pack leader.

The problem is much more bad people rather than bad dogs, the only thing more annoying that the pit bull is as dangerous as a gun people are the breeders who sell "yorkie-poos" or "bugs".
