It was funny watching the defence try to adjust to me. Soon as I step up to the plate, they adjust for the lefty, and I smack it over the third baseman. Next AB, I ground out to first. Then a double right up the middle. By my last at bat, they just played a straight four man OF. They had no more clue where the ball was going than I did, lol.
Entire team contributed tonight. Special thanks to Kerplunk's mom, who threatened to cut off his food supply if he didn't get a hit to maintain our 7th inning rally. Who's coming out to cheer you on next week dude, your second cousin, twice-removed?
And, as much as FireFly says she would deserve the scarf, she did beat out a double play, driving in a key run during our comeback!
And Redvan and I thank the rest of the team for making up for our shoddy defence in the IF...
