I just got home from watching it... it was a very interesting movie...

and I totally believe the R rating is more than justified. Its guaranteed to screw kids up... its very, very weird.

are you talking about the R rating in the States which allows kids under 18 to view with a parent or the R rating up here that doesnt allow anyone under 18 to view whatsoever...........just curious on your thoughts.....im seeing a matinee tommorow

The Restricted R rating in Alberta. You will be very surprised in some of the stuff they do.
I don't know. I wasn't all that shocked by anything that happened in that movie. Sure, some of it was pretty raunchy, but I didn't think it was too terrible.

Maybe I had just heard so much about this movie that I was expecting something so ridiculously over-the-top. However, I think if you went into the movie not knowing anything about it, you may be a little thrown off. [/b][/quote]
Oh well, it certainly wasn't too much for me to handle, but I remarked before the movie why Famous Players was going to such the trouble to say that its rated R and what not, and well, at the end I understood, though I had no problem with it.
