The difference here though is that which team you're on, on the surface appears to be a randon event, if you flipped a coin 10000 times and you got 5500 heads and only 4500 tails would you not be interested?? I would suggest your NHL 08' is not very random at all thus bragging about a 55% win percentage isnt a very valid comparison.
On the surface this looks like frivelous research, but if they can figure out why, it might reveal something important or something that could benefit our society in the future.
