Anybody that has been to a resevervation knows that the entire native Canadian race has some serious issues that seem to be getting worse. Substance abuse seems to be a massive problem with natives in particular for some reason. I think a lot of Canadians attribute our "system" of dealing with natives as the biggest contributing factor of these problems, and are sick of it.

I would agree that simply pointing out that a certain race has some serious problems isn't racist, it is in this case a known fact. The issues of first nation people is well known. I think what Jar-e was reffering to was the post saying that 1 in 10 natives is a contributing member of society, that stat was a little over the top and kind of baseless imo.
