So I pulled up to the drive thru a while ago...

Speaker: "May I take your order?"
Me: "I'll get 2 bacon cheeseburgers with regular fries and a coke"
Speaker: "Oh sorry we don't have those"
Me: "You...don't...have burgers?"
Speaker: "No sorry, we don't sell cheeseburgers"

*long pause*

Me: "Umm....so...no burgers then?"
Speaker: "No sorry"
Me: "Hmm..."

*long pause*

Speaker: "Would you like a Mama w/cheese+bacon?"
Me: "Would that happen to be a bacon cheeseburger?"
Speaker: "Yes"
Me: "...then yeah...I'll have 2 of those..."


It's a pointless story, but the experience was irritating and unnecessary. Why the hell does A&W have to name their burgers Baby/Teen/Mama/Papa/Grandpa? How do I know what's on a Papa Burger etc?

Now I have to ask for a Mama Burger when I go, and all the 17 year old girls working there giggle at me. I lose a little pride each time I make an order.
