i used to get them, stopped drinking so much pop and they were gone... but how i got rid of them was i used an anti- acid powder ie ENO that you mix with water to drink when you have heartburn..... take the powder and using your finger hold it on the sore, BTW this hurts like freaking hell, for as long as you can, i usually do it twice for 5 min, it'll be gone . I use to take the rest of the package and gargle a bit in my mouth right after to make sure it doesn't come back..

this is painful but it works like a charm!
