Then said employee doesn't have a leg to stand on. Chances are if the went elsewhere they wouldn't get a better wage. Of course that would depend on if you are paying the market rate and said employee was doing his job properly
Unions can get greedy as seen in the Candian auto industry. To a point where they've put themselves out of job.
