That 19% would look pretty good in our pockets. I highly doubt Klein would cut that entire amount like some people say. That said, i think cutting it down to 10% would still make it very attractive.
I will sell my house for 500grand to any BC or Ontario people out there.

I was under the impression that Alberta already had a 10% income tax rate. I could be wrong (as I haven't done my taxes this year yet), but I thought that was the case. I'm gonna have to find out and get back to you.

Yup, found it. The provincial income tax rate is a flat 10%. I'm not 100% sure where you got that 19% from, but as far as I can tell it isn't right. So looks like you got your wish.

Well anyways we should be like Hong Kong. No income tax paid at all unless you make over $250000us /per year. So your $3000 check is exactly $3000 into your chequing account.
Don't we already have Billions in that Rainy day Heritage fund?? Maybe we should build another university in Calgary.
