Thanks all! It was a blast...
When we got to the apartment they rented for us there was a book about the city of Ypres and the Great War. I flipped through the book, thinking this is fascinating only to find out the next day we are in the city shooting in front of the same church that was completely obliterated by the Germans. After we left we saw huge war cemetaries and still standing bunkers...really quite amazing.
