Shouldn't you just get on with your life and forget about it? Or is it because it hit home and you think Yvonne is writing about someone similar to yourself?? Infact some of the comments made on this forum just confirm what Yvonne said.......
Although I live in Alberta, I am neither from Alberta or Canada. People comment on my fellow countrymen all the time, and I only find myself getting frustrated/annoyed when I realise what they are saying is true. I'm guessing this is the case here.

haha, 'uptight' and 'frustrated/annoyed'?
I thought our majority-response to the article was more about how (1) comical it was and (2) what a waste of ink it was, more so than anything to do with the actual content?
I think most people had already discarded what the Edmonton-whacko-who-is-moving-to-NYC-to-find-her-dream-subway-washroom-cleaner had to say long before it got to the uptight/frustrated/annoyed stage?
I know for me personally, the most annoying part is that articles like this are frequently in the paper as 'features' yet if they were reversed (women are all messed up, men are perfect) women would be up in arms and the paper would be publishing apologies.
At least we are putting our opinion where it belongs (some random web-forum) while she is having hers published (across the country no doubt).
But if it was meant as a comical piece then good job! Your friend is hilarious!
