I really wonder if more needs to be done to council and support the estranged husband/boyfriend when these messy splits occur. I'm not trying to justify this man's actions. Nothing can do that. But I can very easily empathise with the frustration a husband/Father can go through when their ex uses the legal system as a hammer against them. Again I'm not trying to imply this victim was doing that. I don't know that. I do know that it does happen far too often though and I fear the knee jerk reaction to this tragedy will be to give the women a bigger hammer. Personally I would rather issue her a gun.
