The simple form is, Deuterium gas pressurized introduced to a similarly pressurized zirconium-palladium gas mixture exhibited heating effects for 50 hours.

Sure it's pretty crude, and wouldn't do much more than make water warm, but then is it the first step to the future or is it merely a sham? Independant confirmation would most likely be necessary, and being able to see how it would scale would also be pretty interesting as well.
