Great tearjerker. Back to episode one - you can't always get what you want.

But if you try sometimes, you get what you need. I think that means that next season House is going to try a little harder and maybe, just maybe, he'll get what he needs. A little comfort, a little happiness. Closer friends.

That's part of the earlier season arc when House was trying to figure out 13's secret. She has a history of Huntington's in her family and she always refused to take the test because part of her thought that she would give up on life if she ever knew for sure.

Chase and Cameron need to be used in the show some more. I loved the new characters but it feels so unfair to them that they only put in cameos most of this season and they were only looking for excuses to include them in scenes whenever they could. Since when was Chase an expert in neurology as well? Foreman is the neurologist, it should have been him supervising shocking House's brain but it's good to see Chase/Cameron on the show but they need to be used more. Either that or seriously write them out and focus on the new guys until it makes more sense to bring everybody back together.

All an all, a fantastic episode and much better form than the usual cliched TV "cliffhanger" finales. This one was a cliffhanger in the way that it was so moving and you want to keep watching not to see how a cliffhanger is resolved but just because you want to see more of these people.
