Not even close. The average person consumes only 1-2 spiders per year. They are attracted to your mouth because spiders like warm damp places and your mouth fits the bill. You don't notice because spiders don't cause alot of sensation when they walk on you or at least not enough to wake you up until they get into your mouth where your body's natural reaction in feeling a tickle in there is to swallow.
