Another stingray has died at the Calgary Zoo, whose officials say visitor tampering doesn't appear to have led to the deaths of the 35 creatures.
An analysis shows the water was chemically normal, though toxicity tests have yet to be completed and could take two months to come back.
"Some toxin got into the water, it's just how it happened," she said.
"The most likely thing is something put in the water by accident, something got spilled ... something leeching into the water doesn't seem likely, but we're not ruling anything out."
