I think a person's tolerance to being interrupted depends on how often it happens... Out in Chestermere we hardly get any door to door stuff, so the odd time it does happen I politely listen to their spiel and if I'm not interested let them know..

However in Calgary it was far more difficult to remain polite when sometimes it seemed like a constant stream. Sure they're unrelated to each other, but from the person who keeps getting interrupted from their peaceful enjoyment of their evening's point of view it's just more people interrupting. It can get tiring. Especially if they're ignoring a no soliciting sign.
