I have the same problem on my older Acer laptop.

I don't have to have a lot of programs up, but 3 or 4 up with me typing fast is enough to have to wait contantly for the screen-text to catch up. It is especially annoying when you think you have mistyped but aren't sure until it catches up to that point.

I have just learned to deal with it though?
