My favorite Vice city side mission was delivering cocaine around the town in an ice cream truck. The tank in flight was pretty neat if you could do it too.
San Andreas was way to big for me, I played the hell out of it but after a while driving from Vegas to LA was way too freaking boring and I never ever finished the game. The turf wars were awesome.
This game looks crazy, the multiplayer is an aspect of GTA that I always thought would be awesome since they introduced the mall in Vice City. The thought of having a multi-player shoot out in there seemed so awesome.
