One thing to note, no matter what your lease says, the LAW is the final word. So even if you signed a lease saying something thats contrary to the law, the law is what applies.

Then to spite her, post a ton of ads on Craigslist and Kijiji for the townhouse and a rental rate thats really cheap. Keep doing it monthly. Maybe post some adds for appliances as well.
