I stayed at the La Quinta of the same group and it was great value for the money. FANTASTIC location right across from Macy's and backing on to the Empire State Building, and at a good price at the time too. Free breakfast and internet as well. |
Yes, that's the one: Red Roof Inn Manhattan. I know it sounds so funny but it was a very nice hotel for what we needed ... clean, looked nice throughout, fairly new rooms, nice bathrooms ... nearby Penn Station for subway excusrions, right near the ESB and Macy's, 5th Avenue close by, MSG close by, and an awesome little Korean deli where we got bagels every morning ... I think it was called Super 42 or something. Hope it's still there when we get back.
